Kingsmill began in 1996 as a speciality basement remodeler (which we still do BTW), and a customer asked, "Do you build bars?"  We answered, "Yes" never building anything close to a bar before.  This is the very first bar we built and thanks to our local lumber yard, we were able to source proper materials like the Chicago bar rail and furniture grade plywood.  Golden oak stain hand applied on site with brushed poly.  The customer's house stunk for a week.

Word of mouth grew and we began build more and more custom bars around Cleveland Ohio.  Then our big break came with a call from Cape Cod Massachusetts - our first out of state order, and it was a big one with all the bells and whistles!  All cherry, antique reclaimed leaded glass, corbels, and granite.  We built the bar, loaded the rental truck, delivered and installed the bar.

Since then we have built and delivered bars to 31 states and counting, upgraded our shop 3 different times each one doubling our size.  Our production manager has been a Kingsmill employee for 26 years and I can honestly tell customers that if it's built with wood, we can built it!
